Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s suffering, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

Lillie Ann Smith of Garner, NC transitioned on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Wake Med Hospital in Cary, NC.  Lillie leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Lolita Smith and Sheila Smith of Garner, NC; three sons, Walter Smith, Jr., Connell Smith, and Donnell Smith of Garner, NC, five sisters: Joyce Leak of Garner, NC, Linda Battle of Raleigh, NC, Jeanette Watson of Angier, NC, Carol Burns of Atlanta, GA, Jodie Hall of Atlanta, GA, three brothers: George Watson of Durham, NC, Howard Watson of Atlanta, GA, Robert Watson of Raleigh, NC and Host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and other relatives and friends.
